When I attended Libertyville Covenant Church the congregation created its own Lenten devotional. How it worked was different members of the congregation would sign up for different days. We would then write a one page devotion on the scripture passage for that day which would be bound and distributed to the congregation to read during Lent.
ReplyDeleteReading the different devotions allowed me to see sides of my fellow church members that I would not have seen otherwise and I think brought us together as a worshiping community.
